About the Fundraiser
Bhavya is our first baby and that too a baby girl. When she was born, my wife and I were thrilled. I distributed sweets among the hospital workers. Today, I am back in the hospital, as I hold my sobbing wife for our child.
Our baby was growing like any other child, but after her first injection, she started getting sick. She excreted blood during bowel movement. Her color started to turn pale and she would cry all night.
My baby was in pain but she couldn’t even talk about it.
My wife and I were concerned. Hence, we rushed her to the hospital. The doctors quickly completed the necessary tests and gave us the heart-shattering result. My newborn’s liver was damaged.
The moment we heard that my wife began to cry uncontrollably. I couldn’t process anything at that moment as I was torn between my baby crying in pain and my sobbing wife.
To this day, I cannot cry. Crying won’t save her. Taking the right steps for her treatment will.
The doctors at Taurus Hospital said that my 6 m/o baby Bhavya needs an urgent liver transplant. If not treated in time, then her liver damage will start affecting her kidneys too and soon they will be damaged.
My little baby has already gone through painful surgery at such a tender age and that is why she is still breathing. She needs one more to live longer…
I am fit to donate liver to my daughter, and I am ready to donate a part of me to save my baby girl if that will give her life. Because all I want for my baby is for her to live, grow, learn, and one day be a successful and independent person.
I know my dreams are too far-fetched, but the moment I held my Bhavya in my hands for the first time, I couldn’t help but wish for all these prosperities for her.
There is only one problem though and it is the biggest one. The cost of my daughter’s treatment is estimated to be around Rs 16,50,000. I work in the society building and I barely manage to earn Rs 12000 per month.
Hence, I have come to you asking for help. With your help, I can give part of my liver to my Bhavya and she can also live with us.
My baby does not deserve such suffering and a painful end.
